What you’ll need
2 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk or whatever milk or milk alternative you desire
1 1/2 teaspoons of ground organic turmeric powder
1 1/2 teaspoons of ground ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of whole allspice
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 whole nutmeg
Mortar or spice grinder
Add 2 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk into your saucepan.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground ginger powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground organic turmeric powder, a 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of whole allspice, 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon and freshly ground nutmeg into your saucepan. Use your whisk and make sure that all of the dry ingredients are fully incorporated in with the unsweetened almond milk.
Allow your Golden Milk to simmer and slowly come to a boil, then add a bit of honey to sweeten to your liking afterwards add one tablespoon of coconut oil and give the mixture a stir and remove from the heat.
You can now transfer the Golden Milk into a mug and enjoy.
Tips & Tricks
Instead of coconut oil you can add ghee as an option.
You can use plant-base milk options, dairy milk or whatever milk alternative of your choosing.
Golden Milk is perfect to make right before bed.
