Now it’s time to add the coconut oil and you can play around a bit with the mixture to get the texture you want by adding as little or as much coconut oil you would like. For our recipe we started with five tablespoons of coconut oil and adjusted from there until we ended up with a more of a fluffier consistency.

Tips and tricks

  • You can use Fractionated coconut oil or the solid form to make this scrub.

  • Try adding your favorite essential oil for some added fragrance.

  • You can omit the rose petals, it’s completely optional.

  • Turmeric can stain your clothes and linens so keep that in mind when using this scrub and make sure to thoroughly rinse it off.
