Pumpkin Harvest DIY Mask | A Modern Girl RecommendsHello everyone, it’s Friday and I thought what better way to celebrate the weekend than with a fun beauty DIY that’s fall inspired and contains ingredients to calm, soften and bring on some glow to dull skin, especially in the fall approaching season because we all know that’s when our skin can turn against us and leave us looking drier than the Sahara Desert and feeling like it too, so what is this mystery DIY well, I know you’ve all read the title, but I don’t mind at all repeating something this good, it’s my Pumpkin Harvest DIY Mask and if this is something that’s sparking your interest stick around, keep reading and let’s get started on how to make my Pumpkin Harvest DIY Mask.
What you’ll need
Utensils a large spoon and a spatula
Container to store mask in.
Add 1/2 of a cup of canned pumpkin into a bowl. I’m using organic canned pumpkin, but any brand or kind can be used to make this mask organic is just my preference.
Now add 3 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt into your bowl.
Add 1/3 of a cup of brown sugar.
And lastly add 1/4 of a cup of pure honey.
Using a spoon or spatula, mix all of the ingredients until everything is fully combined and then transfer into a container and use immediately. Store any remaining amount in the fridge for up to seven days and then discard any leftovers.
Tips & Tricks
- My Pumpkin Harvest DIY Mask can be used 2 to 3 times a week.
- This mask should be left on for 10 minutes and then rinse fully with warm water.
- I suggest making this mask in small batches because it can go bad quite quickly due to some of the ingredients being perishable.
- This mask has a medium to thin consistency so applying it with a facial/mask brush can help keep things neat.
- For a thicker consistency, add extra pumpkin and/or brown sugar.
