I hope you guys had an amazing weekend and for today I am going to be sharing a quick recipe on how to make my Triple Berry Mini Tarts that are easy make, they taste great and only require a few ingredients so let’s just dive right in and I will show you all how I make these tarts.
What you’ll Need
Fresh Lemon Juice
Round Cookie or biscuit cutter
Add to your bowl a mixture of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries depending upon how many tarts your making one carton of each combine makes up to 14 Triple Berry Mini Tarts.
Add the zest of one lemon into your triple berry mix and then cut the lemon in half and add the juice from the lemon along with two tablespoons of butter that has been cubed and then add 1/4 of a cup of cane sugar the cane sugar can be substituted for any other sweetener, honey, Stevia or Agave once all the ingredients have been added give it a stir and move on to step 3.
In this step you’re going to open up a package of pie crust if you prefer, you can make your own homemade pie crust, but I’m going to keep things real simple and just go with already made pie crust. Roll out your pie crust and use a round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter and cut out your tart base.
First butter your baking pan or sheet and then it’s time to put these tarts together and all you have to do is just take a spoonful of your berry mixture and place it in the center of each of your pie crust rounds.
To seal up your tarts simply join the edges in towards the center and once all of the tarts are sealed, sprinkle each one with sugar and place into a 300 degree oven and bake for 18 minutes or until your tarts are golden brown.
Remove the tarts from the oven, let cool for 10 minutes and sprinkle with confectioners sugar and serve. You can also add vanilla ice cream along with a few berries on top before serving.
