Welcome back, readers I hope you all are having a happy Monday and what better way to get refreshed after a weekend of adventures, and the week ahead started then with a good ol’ fashion Birchbox unboxing, and of course for the month of October we all pretty much could guess that Birchbox was going to release a box, that had to be screaming with color, and full of top beauty brands and of course products that we are sparked with intrigue to try at least I am, so lets dive right into my Birchbox October 2016 Unboxing & Review.
Full size | $22.00
The first product to kick off the October Birchbox is the Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo. Now we all know by now if you have been subscribe to Birchbox for a while, you know that Birchbox is renowned for delivering all the top brand dry shampoos, and if you’ve ever wanted to explore the world of dry shampoos without committing to a full size bottle Birchbox is the subscription for you. So let’s get into the Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo. If anyone uses dry shampoos the biggest complaint sometimes is the fact that they can leave behind a chalky white residue that none of us girls dig, however with this one Oribe has left that stigma at the door, because their Gold Lust Dry Shampoo leaves hair feeling clean, no white residue in sight, and leaves hair with a slight nice refreshed shine along with Oribe’s signature fragrance all the while keeping hair feeling light weight let’s give Oribe an applause please.MAKE | Silk Cream Lipstick – Magnolia
Full size | $25.00
MAKE Silk Cream lipstick in the color Magnolia is a sheer fuchsia color, that is buildable. The color is one that is completely outside of the norm, and perfect for when you would like to stand out from all the pinks, reds and nude lipsticks in the crowd. I like that this lipstick is very hydrating, and doesn’t leave my lips looking or even feeling dry. MAKE Makeup has created their Silk Cream lipsticks to double as a lip treatment, because this one is enriched with antioxidants.Avene | Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Cream RICH
Full size | $34.00
The next item is a must have product for any fall beauty subscription box, and that is a great moisturizer to help combat cold weather skin blues that we all know is coming, and Birchbox has subscribers covered with the Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Cream RICH. This cream is one that works overtime to keep ones skin ultra hydrated in the face of cold weather, and the impact that we all know it has on our skin. Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Cream RICH works to restores skin’s natural moisture barrier as well as balances ones hydration level. I like that the consistency of this moisturizer is very light almost similar to a lotion consistency, and it is not oily where you would want to immediately wipe it off.GlamGlow | PowerMud Dualcleanse Treatment
Full size | $69.00
GlamGlow has been around for quiet awhile and it has become a beauty cult fave among many, and for the month of October Birchbox has dropped into some subscribers boxes the GlamGlow PowerMud Dualcleanse Treatment, and if you have not heard of this GlamGlow creation this one is all about combining Brazilian white clay to help detoxify skin and smooth skin. This treatment works by transforming from a clay to an oil and ultimately leaves skin smooth and hydrated. This Works | Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
Full size | $29.00
One of my favorites products from the October Birchbox is the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, and it features a very earthy woody fragrance that you will either love at first or hate, but still spritz the sample to see if it truly delivers and I must say I am convinced. When I first sprayed the sample I was kind of taken back by the scent, this spray contains both lavender and chamomile and it’s very heavy on the chamomile. Even though the scent was strong I still sprayed it on my pillow and sheets anyways, and to much of my dismay I think I had one of the best night sleeps. This pillow spray does creates a soothing environment, and I am officially sold, however I went to order a bottle on Birchbox’s site and they are officially sold out.
And there you have it folks that was the Birchbox October 2016 Unboxing & Review, and once again Birchbox has served up to their subscribers definitely something to talk about. Birchbox has in my opinion curated a box that has it all for one looking to discover an array of beauty brands. I loved the idea that Birchbox threw into the mix a home item for their October box with the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. It was a product not really expected to be seen in a beauty subscription box, but you might think why not we’ve all heard of beauty rest right. This Works was by far my favorite item from the box, and it’s always nice to see a GlamGlow product land into our boxes, and all the other items are just as intriguing and perfect to test away with, and that a wrap. All product links are featured below thanks for stopping by and I will see you all soon, definitely like this post and subscribe see you all soon with another unboxing.
