It’s official the first beauty subscription of February has arrived and it’s no other than Ipsy, and with its arrival came a theme that is truly created on love being delivered right into Ipsters mailboxes. For February a great deal of events are happening in this month from Valentine’s Day, to the Super Bowl Sunday, award shows and then so much more Ipsy has definitely delivered a fun beauty bag to tackle whatever ones plans are for the busy month, and with that said now let’s get to unbagging the Ipsy February 2016 Bag.
Product 1 Skinfix | Ultra Rich Body Butter*
Full size $14.99
The first product from my Ipsy February 2016 Bag is one that I am very interested in trying, because it’s a body butter that is packed with some really great hydrating natural ingredients such as shea butter, sunflower oil and coconut oil. Skinfix Ultra Rich Body Butter is dermatologist recommend, and is a fragrance free body butter that works to deeply moisturize dry skin. The consistency is not so much a body butter, but more like a medium consistency lotion, and I am looking forward to seeing how well this body butter holds up to its promise of offering ultra skin hydration.Product 2 Bellapierre Cosmetics | Mineral Blush in Desert Rose*
Full size $22.50
The next product just screams romance and beauty and I’m talking about the mineral blush by Bellapierre Cosmetics in the color Desert Rose and it is stunning. This is a sheer mineral blush that gives just a hint or color, but is easily buildable for a more intense wash of color. The color is a dusty pale pink rose, and it not only adds color to the cheeks, but has a slight highlighting effect.Product 3 Ciate London | Olivia Palermo x Ciate London Nail Polish – My Off Duty Nude*
Full size $24.00
The Ipsy theme of love continues, because this next product helps complete almost any love inspired look or any look in general with its classic pale rose-pink color, and the product that landed into my Ipsy February 2016 Bag is the Ciate London collaboration with Olivia Palermo nail polish in the fabulous color My Off Duty Nude. This color is a true pale rose nude and it looks great. One coat of this polish is perfect, but if one wanted to intensify the color two coats is even better.Product 4 It Cosmetics | Bye Bye Under Eye – Tan*
Full size $24.00
This next product is all about helping one to achieve a more rested look, and is for those times when you’ve probably only received a few hours of rest and you need to look less walking dead and more like the belle of the ball or somewhere in that vicinity. The product that is promising on delivering a more refreshed look is from no other than the fame beauty cosmetics line It Cosmetics, and the product that I received is their Bye Bye Under Eye. The color that I received is tan, but It Cosmetics offers three others, which are light, deep and neutral medium definitely something for everyone. Bye Bye Under Eye is a concealer that can be applied to cover blemish and other skin imperfections. This concealer is very pigmented so don’t go too crazy trying to piling it on.Product 5 Vintage By Jessica Liebeskind | Sparkling Lipgloss – Pink Sequin
Full size $21.00
The last product featured in my Ipsy February 2016 Bag is a lipgloss by the brand Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind in the pretty color Pink Sequin, which mimics the color of pink champagne. This a tinted glitter lipgloss that is all about getting notice, because the color is subtle, but the glitter provides the show and is prefect in my opinion for a night out on the town whether you have love or looking for love this lipgloss is daring enough to spark an interest and because it’s a sheer formula it is stated by the brand to suitable for all skin types.
And those are all of the love invoking and inspiring products that graced my February Ipsy bag. I loved that for this month Ipsy actually showed their subscribers some extra love and dress up our cosmetic bags not only with a great design, but delivered products that are beyond deluxe size samples. The February 2016 Ipsy Bag was definitely more makeup and beauty focused and the samples were definitely all about promoting self-appreciation, beauty and love. I thought this was the perfect bag for such an active month. And, that’s a wrap of my Ipsy February 2016 Bag. See you all soon with another unboxing.
