Glossybox January 2016 Box | A Modern Girl Recommends

Glossybox January 2016 BoxMy sample subscription unboxings continue, but this time around I am unboxing the luxury beauty sample subscription Glossybox, and this box features a great deal of familiar beauty brands as well as some new brand discoveries and for the month of January I thought that Glossybox had delivered a well curated variety of skin care and beauty items that were pretty great, so let’s get to my unboxing and mini review of the Glossybox January 2016 Box.Glossybox January 2016 Box Featured Products

Glossybox January 2016 Box MeMeMe Lip Glide in Playful PeachProduct  1 MeMeMe | Lip Glide in Playful Peach

Full size $12.50

The first product that was included in my January 2016 Glossybox is a velvety matte lip crayon with a whole lot of staying power and attitude, and the brand that I received is the MeMeMe Lip Glide crayon in the beautiful refreshing color Playful Peach. The color is described by the brand to be an apricot -hue lipstick. The color is perfect in my opinion when one wants to sport a bold daring lip. The consistency is perfect glides on effortlessly, and delivers an impeccable finish. Glossybox January 2016 Box Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying TreatmentProduct 2 Beautiful Nutrition | Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment*

Full size $10.00

The next product that was featured in my Glossybox January 2016 Box not only smells refreshing, but promises to deliver stunning results, and the product that I am referring to is the Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment by the brand Beautiful Nutrition. This hair treatment is to be used after shampooing and conditioning ones hair, and it works to clarify and helps to restore dull  and damaged hair along with removing buildup that contributes to ones hair looking lackluster and unmanaged as stated by the brand.Glossybox January 2016 Box Royal Apothic Cream Creme To GoProduct 3 Royal Apothic | Cream Creme Moisturizing Body Cream in Cutting Garden*

Full size $20.00

Moving onto the third product, which happens to be a great brand in my opinion and a favorite of mine it’s the Royal Apothic skincare line, and this is a brand I must say a great deal of their products have amazing scents. The product that was included in my Glossybox for January is their Cream Creme Moisturizing Body Lotion in the beautiful alluring scent Cutting Garden. The scent is similar to fresh-cut flowers with an undertone of  freshly cut grass and jasmine. The scent definitely invokes a warm summer day in the garden scent and I love it.  This body cream helps to moisturize ones skin, but at the same time infuses and nurtures the skin with ingredients like milk proteins and lactic acids. Royal Apothic Cream Creme Moisturizing Body Cream works to also exfoliates ones skin.  Glossybox January 2016 Box Emite Make Up Diamond Heart Base PrimerProduct 4 Emite Make Up | Diamond Heart

Full size $29.00

The fourth product in my Glossybox is the Emite Make Up Diamond Heart Base Primer, and this primer is stated by the brand to feature a special Diamond Heart ingredient, which works to give ones skin an appearance of a natural radiant glow, and then preps the skin for ones foundation. The brand also states that their Diamond Heart Base Primer will help even out ones skin tone, and also helps with minimizing skin imperfections. I really like that unlike some makeup primers that are available for the consumer the Emite Diamond Heart Primer does not have a consistency where the face feels sticky, and the makeup just doesn’t wear as well as it should.

Glossybox January 2016 Box Item Minus 417 Foot Nourishing Cream in OceanProduct 5   Minus 417 | Foot Nourishing Cream

Full size $18.00

And, the last product featured in the Glossybox January 2016 Box was at first looked upon as an okay product, but I was oh so wrong, because it not only smells incredible, but gives feet that much-needed hydration in the winter months or anytime and I am talking about the Minus 417 Foot Nourishing Cream. The consistency is medium between a light lotion and a body butter. What makes this foot cream so different in my opinion is, that Minus 417 scrapped the traditional peppermint foot cream scent, and formulated a foot cream that brings the essence of the beach and the summer to ones feet. The scent is fresh, a slight hint of floral, but very tropical without the fruity scent. I am officially hooked.

And, those were all the products featured in my Glossybox January 2016 Box.  I have a few instant faves, which were the MeMeMe Lip Glide in Playful Peach, the color is rich and very pigmented and I love how beautifully it applies definitely a product worth checking out. The other product is  of course the Minus 417 Nourishing Foot Cream this cream not only smells great in my opinion, but actually hydrates my feet where they do not feel greasy, but just moisturized and smooth. I thought the Glossybox January 2016 Box deliver all the essentials to help start of the new year by getting their subscribers refreshed, hydrated and ready to push ahead for the adventures of the year ahead, and that’s a wrap of my Glossybox January 2016 Box.
