Happy Tuesday to all I just received the first beauty sample subscription for the month of September, and it’s my Ipsy Bag. And, I have decided that I would to do an instant bag reveal of all the beauty samples that made their way into my bag. As with any month Ipsy curates a beauty bag based around a theme for the month, and for this month the theme is Face Fashion. So without any further delay let’s get to the unzipping of my Ipsy September 2015 Bag reveal.
Product 1 Ipsy + NYX 3 Color Shadow Palette
Full size $17.00
The first product featured in my Ipsy September 2015 Bag is a mini eye shadow palette by the brand NYX, and was created in collaboration with Ipsy. I thought the colors in this palette were perfect to complement fall inspired makeup looks. The colors featured are a stormy dark gray color that has a matte finish, a bronze copper color with a subtle shimmer finish, and last but truly not least was a warm champagne shimmer color with a soft pink undertone. All three of these colors are buildable.
Product 2 Temptu Champagne Shimmer Highligther *
Full size $35.00
Temptu is a makeup brand that is known for their airbrush makeup system* and their newest addition the Chordless Makeup AirBrush*. I received in my bag the champagne shimmer highlighter. The color is a true champagne pink with a slight gold undertone, and adds just the right amount of shimmer. As stated by the brand this is a versatile highlighter that can be used to enhance eye makeup, applied on the body to add a radiant glow, and to define and contour.
Product 3 Liptini Special Edition Lipstick in Starlet Cocktail
Full size $18.00
First, I must say that this lipstick smells amazing like chocolate and red velvet cake in my opinion, and has a tart sweet taste with a mild hint of red wine. Liptini Special Edition Lipstick in the color Starlet Cocktail is a vegan and cruelty-free lipstick. I love that this is a buildable lipstick where one can adjust the color by the occasion or the mood. The color is very rich and pigment that it can be built-up to a deep burgundy berry red color easily. This lipstick has a lovely matte finish. The color Starlet Cocktail reminds me of that perfect femme fatale red extremely sassy, seductive and daring are rolled into one.Product 4 Formula X Nail Color in Ignite
Full size $10.50
The next product that was featured in my Ipsy September 2015 Bag was a nail polish by the brand Formula X in the color Ignite. The color Ignite is a deep red wine cranberry color, and in my opinion is the perfect color for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. I have not previously tried Formula X nail polishes, however I am looking forward to sampling the brand. This was a deluxe size mini sample of the Formula X nail polish in the color Ignite.
Product 5 Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Brazilian Smooth Flat Iron Express Leave-in-balm*
Full size $6.29
This hair care item is all about providing the sleekest finish, while protecting ones locks from flatiron damage up to 450 degrees. Definitely an interesting product to be sampling in this months Ipsy Bag, and I will be giving this one a whirl. This leave-in balm is formulated with Argan Oil and Brazilian Murumuru Butter.
And, that was my Ipsy September 2015 Bag reveal and mini review of the items that were featured in my bag. Just off of first impressions I love the Liptini lipstick, and I will definitely be ordering others from the collection. I am also liking the eye shadow trio by Ipsy + NYX. I thought the colors featured in the mini palette are suitable for the fall. The colors throughout the September 2015 Ipsy Bag are very warm and rich and are truly screaming fall is coming, from the products itself to the makeup bag. And, that’s a wrap.

awesome review!! Have you tried the Temptu highlighter? If so, what are your thoughts? I so want to try it!
Thanks. Yeah I have tried the Temptu Highlighter and it’s absolutely beautiful, but it is very sheer. I like that it does leave a pearl iridescent glowing finish depending how much you apply. I apply it with a beauty blender or brush and it looks good, however I have heard that it looks best when using the Temptu airbrush system. I think personally it’s a pretty good highlighter.
Awesome!! If Ipsy puts it as a point perk, I will totally have to pick it up then lol
Sounds like a great idea.
Great review! Seems like you got really great products!
Thank you. I thought Ipsy delivered a pretty good bag for this month, and I already have a few favorites.
