It has finally happened, that I have decided to add another beauty sample subscription to the mix, and the one that I have signed up for was with Ipsy formerly known as the Glam Bag. For those who are not familiar with Ipsy here’s is a quick tell of how they work, and what exactly Ipsy is. Ipsy was one of the original beauty sample subscription services. The company sends subscribers five beauty samples monthly for $10.00 and there is a waitlist.
Ipsy also gives subscribers fifteen points for each product reviewed, that the subscriber receives for the current month in their bag. And, that’s pretty much the workings of Ipsy. The May Ipsy Bag, was my first bag, and just on first impressions this one definitely made a well lasting good impression. I love the idea of a beauty subscription company sending subscribers beauty samples in a makeup bag. It becomes very convenient when traveling to have makeup bags that are not only a great size, but are stylish. I had signed up for Ipsy towards the end of April, and was on their waitlist. My subscription officially started in May. Anyways now moving onto what was in my Ipsy May 2015 Bag.
Product 1 Klorane Soothing and Relaxing Eye Patches*
The first product featured in my Ipsy bag was the Klorane Soothing and Relaxing Eye Patches. These eye patches are all about working to relieve puffiness and fatigue around the eye area as well as providing relaxation. The Klorane eye patches are formulated with Cornflower and Arnica, and are dermatologist, hypoallergenic and ophthalmologist tested. These eye patches have been the perfect little at home spa treatment, and are definitely a favorite for me.
The next product that was included in my May Ipsy bag was from the brand GlamGlow, and this is their ThristyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser. This cleanser combines both mud and a foaming cleanser to provide a moisture-rich cleansing. Some of the ingredients includes pure green coconut water, olive milk, plumeria flower blossom, indian gooseberry and omegas 3, 6 and 9. GlamGlow ThristyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser is all about cleansing, hydrating, and having a refreshed complexion.
Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative leave -in-Conditioning Spray is an ultra light nourishing spray that works to improve hair by making it softer, more manageable, moisturizes and strengthens hair overtime. This leave-in-conditioning spray acts as a barrier against heat when blow drying hair or working with other heat styling tools. Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-in-conditioning spray is formulated with argan oil, coconut oil and rosehip oil.
Product 4 Pixi by Petra Bronzer in Summertime*
The next product that took center stage in my May Ipsy Bag was this very pigmented bronzing powder by the brand Pixi by Petra that is formulated with vitamin E. The color Summertime is a warm rich color with a medium finish. The consistency is silky, and has a medium amount of shimmer.
The next product that wrapped up all the samples included in my Ipsy May 2015 Bag,was the Luxie Rose Gold Number 205 Tapered Blending Brush. I love how well this brush blends my eyeshadow’s, and works like a charm for under eye concealer. And, I am loving the Rose Gold ferrule. This brush is coated in an antibacterial solution allowing ones brush to remain cleaner as well as fresher for longer periods of time. This brush is one hundred percent vegan and has synthetic brushes.
And, that was my first Ipsy Bag and I absolutely loved it. The variety was great. I definitely love the idea of receiving beauty samples, and products in makeup bags every month it’s definitely a nice change. And, that’s a wrap on my Ipsy May 2015 Bag.
