Summertime Skin Exfoliation with Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub | A Modern Girl Recommends

Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub

The summer is soon approaching and the weather has just begun to warm up quite nicely, and it’s now time to tuck away our cold weather clothing until next winter. Now, it has become the time to break out our summer wardrobe, but before jumping right into summer it’s time to prep our skin for our summer skin care routine, with all our new and old favorite beauty products we will soon be piling on from sun blocks, tanning lotions, bronzers, primers, lotions and potions and so on, one of the first products that should definitely be on the top of the list of prepping skin for summer or anytime of the year is exfoliation. For me exfoliation has been key to making my skin care, and other beauty products not only apply better onto my skin, but by exfoliating  I have been able to better receive the full benefits from the skin care products I use. Many skin care specialist and dermatologist have stated By exfoliating  ones skin, skin appears more radiant, healthy and nourished, which allows for skin care products to better absorb into ones skin, instead of just sitting on top of the skin and one not receiving the full benefits of their cosmetics. By one properly exfoliating  makeup applies much better, and definitely looks more even.  And, a product that has been helping me get  my skin prepped for the summer season ahead has been the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub.

About the brand Adovia

Adovia is a pretty intriguing company that focuses on creating a skin care line that remains natural, and products that work to renew ones skin overtime. The company Adovia has been stated by the brand to be one of the first companies to take the approach to formulate skin care products that bring together both herbal extracts as well as minerals to work to nourish, rebuild and restore. Adovia continues to strive to formulate skin care products with the highest content of both minerals and antioxidants as well as vitamins.

Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub

Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub, has been the perfect beauty product to start my summertime skin care prep. This Dead Sea Salt scrub is highly effective in sloughing away dry dull skin, and revealing skin that looks radiant and feels incredibly smooth. For me personally I love the scent of the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub, it is very fresh and has an ocean scent along with a subtle fresh floral fragrance. The consistency of this body scrub is perfect in my opinion. The dead sea salt grains are fine, and they are very abrasive, but at the same time gentle on my skin. I normally exfoliate with a salt scrub two to three times a week and use a sugar scrub in between, because I want to avoid drying my skin out. The results of incorporating the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub into my Summertime Skin Exfoliation routine has been phenomenal. My skin definitely stays hydrated much longer and  looks and feels more smooth and radiant.

Some of the potential benefits of adding a Dead Sea Salt scrub to ones skin care routine.

  • Dead sea salts has been known to have anti-aging qualities that can potentially aid in keeping skin smooth, and also helps skin hold moisture longer.
  •  By exfoliating skin with dead sea salts as a scrub it can help overtime to soften and ultimately leave skin appearing more youthful looking.
  •  Dead sea salts possess the quality to help skin hold water, which allows the skin to stay moisturize,  however they also aids with potentially diminishing the appearance of wrinkles, and possibly fend off new wrinkles forming.
  • Incorporating dead sea salts into one beauty routine can also potentially help with improving blood circulation. Dead sea salts are known to have the ability to help increase blood circulation at the skin’s surface. By increasing blood circulation to the skin can potentially help in cellular renewal and skin rejuvenation.
  • Massaging the skin with dead sea salt has been known to draw blood to the skin’s surface, helping the skin to potentially release toxins.

And, that’s a wrap on my summertime skin exfoliation with Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub product introduction and review. I absolutely love this brand, and their idea of combining natural and organic minerals, herbs and antioxidants in their skin care line that work to heal and restore skin over time. The quality of the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub has been top quality in my opinion, and has helped my skin to feel refreshed, smooth, hydrated and radiant.

  1. I am happy that someone did a review on this product. I actually signed up to receive this via Brandbacker but backed out to to scheduling conflicts. I have tried the mud mask from Adovia and really liked it, so I was interested to see what people thought of the body scrub. I’m thinking I might just end up ordering it.
