Another month another beauty sample subscription box that is ready to be unbox, and the subscription box that is taking center stage is my BirchBox April 2015 Box. First, I must say I have been liking the new change that has come to Birchbox. For the past few months BirchBox has been ditching that old bland box, and they have revamped it by releasing beautiful and well designed boxes. I love the new box prints, and how each month a new design arrives to greet the subscriber. The new designs definitely brings a little more extra surprise to each BirchBox every month, and I hope BirchBox keeps with the new trend. And, now moving onto my BirchBox April 2015 Box, and all the Spring inspired samples that not only brought amazing color to the month, but arrived with trendy cosmetics to help kick-start any month.
For the month of April BirchBox teamed up with one of my favorite stationary company’s Rifle Paper Co. to collaborate on their creation of their April box design. And, for the month of April the theme was all about bright colors, in bloom and the design created definitely evokes every aspect of Spring.
Full size $20.00
LAQA & Co. Lip Lube’s have been my favorite go to lip product since I first received a sample in my June 2014 BirchBox. The colors are not only beautiful, but playful and rich in color. And, besides from being fun and beautiful LAQA & Co. are extremely hydrating, and they are formulated with a nice refreshing sweet mint scent and flavor once applied. The color Honey Pot is a versatile color, that applies sheer and then one can intensify the color. The color is great in my opinion for casual almost makeup free look.
Product 2 Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream – Blueberry*
Full size $20.00
The next product that was featured in my BirchBox April 2015 Box, was the Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream. The scent is yummy and definitely a skin care treat, because it is both hydrating and soothing. The best description I can give of how amazing this shaving cream smell is quite similar to a fresh Blueberry pie, and a little tart like the purple Nerd candies. I love that this shaving cream is packed with hydrating ingredients that one can actually pronounce such as organic shea butter, organic green tea, organic jojoba seed oil, organic coconut oil and other beneficial ingredients. Whish is formulated to not only hydrate, but nourish and soothe ones skin.
Product 3 Jouer Tint in the color Petal*

The next product featured in my April 2015 BirchBox, was the Jouer Tint in the color Petal. The color Petal is a warm peach color, and very playful for the spring and upcoming summer season. This tint has a nice consistency that blends beautifully, and gives that summer beach glow.

The next product that was featured in my BirchBox April 2015 Box, was a hair care product by the brand Beaver Professionals, which automatically makes me think of that vintage fifties television show, but moving pass the name this shampoo is formulated to repair dry damage hair, nourish and rebuild ones hair over time. Beaver Professionals Hydro Nutritive Moisturizing shampoo, is stated by the Beaver’s Professional to be a mild cleanser. This hydrating shampoo contains aloe vera extracts as well as avocado oil. The scent is very fresh, and has a typical shampoo fragrance.
Full size $16.00
And, lastly the companion to the Beaver Professionals Hydro Nutritive Moisturizing Shampoo arrived the Hydro Nutritive Repairing Conditioner. This conditioner is stated by Beaver Professional’s to be formulated to help give hair a deep conditioning, and contains ingredients such as Pro- Vitamin B5, Nutri oil and Amino Acids.
And, that’s a wrap on my BirchBox April 2015 Box. I thought BirchBox had delivered a nice box, that offered a good balance between makeup, body care and hair care. The box design for April was well suited in my opinion for the month. I thought it was perfect, and represented everything about spring. It was whimsical, colorful, trendy and attention grabbing. I hope BirchBox continues to keep with this monthly bonus of having well design boxes, because they are definitely joining the ranks of delivering fun and beautiful packaging to their subscribers.
