The month of February was both the longest and shortest month with Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras and numerous celebrations I am now just catching up with one of my favorite beauty sample subscription boxes GlossyBox, which was left behind in February, and I thought unboxing needed ASAP. GlossyBox, is one of my favorite luxe beauty sample subscription boxes, because every month it arrives beautifully and meticulously put together, and the products are always luxury full size to deluxe size coveted beauty products. For those who might be thinking what is GlossyBox? or might be aware of GlossyBox, but not quite sure how the subscription box service works here’s a quick overview about the fame luxury beauty sample subscription service. GlossyBox is a monthly beauty sample subscription service, that delivers top quality and well-known beauty finds. The subscription plans starts at $21.00 a month, and subscribers receive five full size to deluxe size luxury beauty products.
GlossyBox is one of my favorite beauty sample subscription boxes for many reasons, but a top reason why I admire the company is, because GlossyBox offers a great invitation into the beauty world, where you as the subscriber are able to get access to a variety of beauty finds that one might have viewed through print or online media. GlossyBox, keeps the beauty enthusiast ahead, and informed by introducing leading, undiscovered beauty products, and delivers them straight into subscribers mailboxes. So, now we know how GlossyBox works let’s get moving forward onto my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal. GlossyBox left no detail untouched when celebrating the theme of amore (love) for February. From the box itself to the contents it gleams and reflects beauty, luxury and as usual full of beauty finds. So, let’s get to the unboxing of my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal.
Full size $14.00
The first product featured in my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal, was this beautifully packaged, highly moisturizng and equally pigmented lip tint butter by the company Royal Apothic. This lip tint butter is not only well packaged and beautiful in color and quality, but is formulated with some great ingredients in my opinion. Some of the hydrating ingredients included are shea butter, argan oil, grape seed oil and almond oil. I love that the color is both rich and subtle, and gives just the right amount of color for my lips. Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in the color pink, is great in my opinion for either work, casual, natural fresh face looks and when one wants to intensify the color great for an evening look or night out on the town. I will definitely be looking into purchasing other colors from Royal Apothic Tinties lip butter line.
Full size $22.00
Since becoming a subscriber to beauty sample subscription boxes I have quickly discovered that it’s not too far out of the norm to expect, that one of your boxes will most regularly feature either an eyeliner or mascara. And, it just so happens that for my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal, a mascara took the lead for the month of February. So, I guess we will see an eyeliner next month perhaps. Anyways this eyeliner is from the whimsical brand Jelly Pong Pong, and this is their Fairy lashes curl mascara. This mascara had lengthen my lashes, and did not clumped my lashes at all. Jelly Pong Pong is a UK-based brand. This was a full size mascara featured in my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal.
Full size $15.00
Rituals Cosmetics, is a brand that has been featured in GlossyBox subscribers boxes in the past, and most recently in the December 2014 box , however that item featured than was a hand scrub, this time around GlossyBox subscribers received a full-size foaming shower gel in the scent Yogi Flow. The scent is a mixture of Rose and Sweet almond definitely two scents that were a lovely combination in my opinion. Rituals Cosmetics Foaming Shower gel, has a consistency and feel similar to shaving cream. It comes out of the can as a gel, and quickly foams up to a heavy foam. Because, the consistency is heavy one only needs the smallest amount, because it lathers extremely well. The scent is fresh, however leaves a lovely subtle scent of sweetness with a soft rose scent behind.
Product 4 Unwash Bio- Cleansing Conditioner *
Full size $36.95 – $54.75
The next product that was featured in my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal, was a hair care product by the company Unwash. This is a Bio- cleansing conditioner/shampoo, that has a beautiful fragrance of Summer at the beach. The best way I can describe the scent of this cleansing conditioner is as a lovely mixture of pineapple, coconut and other tropical aromas. The company Unwash created their Bio-Cleansing conditioner, to replace some of the typical harsh shampoos, that are known for stripping hair of their natural oils, drying and making hair colors fade. The company Unwash, has stated that their formulation will not strip ones hair of their natural oils, but works in a way to add moisture as well as help with maintaining, and keeping hair moisturized. Unwash, has also stated that their Bio – Cleansing conditioner overtime helps to improve ones hair by making it more manageable, and at the same time adding volume. Even though Unwash is a cleansing conditioner this conditioner/shampoo lathers extremely well, and I am quite pleased with the results.
Product 5 Julep Color Treat in Hartleigh
Full size $14.00
The next product featured in my February 2015 GlossyBox, was a nail polish from a familiar brand I know all too well, and I just so happen to be a subscription box subscriber to, which is the company Julep. This polish/topcoat is not only beautiful in appearance, but is a five-free formula nail polish, which means Julep’s polishes are free of some of those potentially harmful ingredients such as formaldehyde crystals. Julep, is one of my favorite brands of nail polish, because the quality and colors are amazing in my opinion. The polish Hartleigh, has a great consistency, and the color is perfect on many polishes as a fun topcoat. This polish/topcoat is infused with adorable little red hearts to bring a little playfulness to the party. Julep’s Color Treat nail polish line, is formulated with an oxygen technology, which Julep states helps ones nail beds breathe. Hartleigh is a limited edition color. Julep’s Color Treat nail polishes are stated by the company to be vegan and gluten- free polishes.
And, these were all the great products that landed in my February 2015 GlossyBox. As usual I appreciate the variety of products featured in the box. I love that GlossyBox strives not to just send subscribers one theme boxes, but consistently sends a variety of hair care, skin care, nail care, beauty and makeup products. In my opinion GlossyBox is truly worth the $21.00 a month, because the variety, brands and value of each box one receives. And, that’s a wrap on my GlossyBox February 2015 Box Reveal.
