Birchbox is the stylish, fun, and full of monthly beauty discoveries that are a great greeting to every month. I just received my Birchbox, and as usual this sample subscription beauty box continues to surprise their subscribers with fun versatile beauty and lifestyle products to help bring a little extra glam to the month. Some products are ones that many are aware of, and some products just have become new beauty favorites that we never thought might have or never knew existed. Birchbox, is helping their subscribers get a firm step ready for the Fall season that is quickly approaching, and leap into the Fall with the theme Fresh Paint. The theme fresh paint is about change and celebration. The seasons are changing and my favorite sample subscription box is celebrating their anniversary of the birth of their company. And, with celebration comes a whole lot jazz, and chicness, and Birchbox has decided for their anniversary month to revamped the traditional boxes we are used to receiving, and gave our boxes a huge much-appreciated splash of design, and color to our boxes, and I love the new design for the month. Now without further ado here is my Birchbox September 2014 box reveal.
I have been a fan follower of Liz Earle skin care products for a while. I have been using the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth cleanser for close to three years, and in my opinion is the best make-up remover cleanser on the consumer market. With every use the cleanse and polish dissolves hard to remove make-up leaving skin clean and hydrated. The scent is amazing, and leaves behind an herbal natural fresh fragrance. I am also a fan of the Cleanse and Polish, because when I apply the cleanser around my eye area the product does not irritate my eyes in any way. The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser was definitely a much appreciated and welcomed sample in my September Birchbox.
Full-size $14.50 for 2 oz , or $29.50 for 4.2 oz
Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Spray *is one of my favorite samples from my September 2014 Birchbox. I love how this product moisturizes my hair, and leaves my hair feeling light weight. The product also gave my hair a light shine glossy finish. Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Spray also tamed my fly aways. The fragrance of the Healing Oil spray is gorgeous. The scent is light, sweet, warm, and has a slight fresh scent. The product states, that the Macadamia Professional Healing Oil spray helps block UV rays and helps boost shine and combat frizz, so far the product has been living up to combating frizz, adding subtle shine, I’m not sure about the UV rays, but I love this product and it is definitely on my beauty shopping list, and I will be spreading the love and picking up a few for family, and friends to try hopefully they will become just as big of a fan that I am.
Temptu is a liquid shimmer highlighter with attitude and spunk, that makes highlighting a breeze for the less experienced individual learning to highlight and contour. Temptu highlighter is just not for the newbie in my opinion, I myself loved how this highlighter brings a nice gleam to my cheeks, or where ever. The color is absolutely beautiful, one can go from a sheer natural look for work or casual occasions, and then darken it up for an intense dramatic look for nights out on the town. Temptu states, that their product is supposed to illuminate and contours one’s complexion, and give an all-over glow. And just from my few uses, I feel the product is living up to. Temptu S/B Highlighter in the color Champagne was another favorite from my September Birchbox.
The hunt is over, because thanks to Birchbox I have found the perfect nude color nail lacquer, that has landed in my September Birchbox. The color Ruffian Naked is not too sheer, it is extremely pigmented, and one coat was great and two coats were phenomenal. I love how quickly the dry time is, and I am also a fan of how beautiful the color dries down and leaves a professional quality finish for my nails.
Sample Bonus Ruffian Dressing Room Nail Lacquer Remover Towelette
Full-size $11.00 for 10 towelettes
Another favorite in my September Birchbox, I love that these little towelettes remove absolutely every drop/speck of nail polish. With traditional nail polish removers one has to use several cotton pads or balls, and there is still residue left behind, and the scent leaves one fleeing to the nearest window gasping for chemical- free air, not the case with these Ruffian Dressing Room Nail Lacquer Remover Towelettes. I love the scent. It is sweet, however very mellow. The remover towelette left my nails clean and hydrated. My nails looked as though there have been no nail polish on the nails. As one can probably guess my traditional nail polish remover has taken a seat on the back shelf. Ruffian Dressing Room Nail Lacquer Remover Towelettes is already on my to buy list.
Sample 5 Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream*
Full-size $16.00 for 1.25 oz
Yu-Be is a multi- purpose moisturizer, that claims to heal, soften, as well as hydrates skin. Yu-Bu states that their cream has many uses from dry rough heels all the way up to chapped lips. Yu-Be is definitely a new product discovery for me. I have seen this product on other beauty retailers website, but this is the first time I have been presented to sample and I look forward to see how this product measures up.
And, that is my Birchbox September 2014 Box Reveal. I must say that the September box has been one of my top favorite boxes from Birchbox, that I have received. I love the variety of this month’s box, and the box design was a treat. The upgraded design was everything Birchbox stands for in my opinion it’s fun, playful, colorful, girly, and sets the mood for adventure.
