I discovered the Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish Collection seven months of ago while reading the January 2014 Cosmopolitan magazine. I am completely in love with this new nail polish collection from Revlon. First, I want to say whoever pitched the idea to combined two of my favorite beauty items together deserves a standing applause. I knew that when I had seen the advertisement for this new line I had to run out and purchase them right away. The Revlon Parfumerie collection has endless colors/fragrances to indulge yourself in. All of the nail polishes reveal their fragrance when the nails are fully/partially dry.I selected China Flower, Apricot Nectar, Pink Pineapple, and Lavender Soap. China Flower is a vibrant classic red. The China Flower fragrance and color is a nail polish, that you would expect to see being worn by a 1940s pin up girl, or a Femme Fatale in one of the classic detective movies.
China Flower is one of the nail polishes from the Revlon Parfumerie collection, that captivated my attention the most. I love the fragrance and the color. The fragrance to me is of Sandalwood, a little floral, and very sweet. China Flower scent in my opinion is quite similar to the fragrance by Thierry Mugler Angel.* The color is bright, sophisticated, and very pigmented. China Flower definitely sets off the scent of seduction. I applied two coats and I was ready to go. The fragrance for all of these polishes, that I have tried lasted for 3 1/2 days. I did reapply China Flower between those 3 1/2 days only one time and that was only, because I loved the fragrance and I did not want the scent to fade. The polishes from the Revlon Parfumerie nail polish collection did not chip easily so that was definitely a plus for me.
Pink Pineapple is a sheer soft baby pink, however buildable. The Pink Pineapple scent is another scent from this Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish Collection that I like. The scent of Pink Pineapple is comparable to a Pina Colada. When wearing this scent it made me feel like I was on an island vacation. The color is classic, feminine, however calm and sophisticated.
Apricot Nectar, is a warm peach color. This is a fruity and sweet fragrant polish. The scent is similar I think to Peaches and Cream. The apricot scent is slight, however when wearing the color/scent I think the dominate fragrance is of peaches with hints of sweet and cream. Apricot Nectar is a great Summer choice, because it’s bright, playful, however still classy for events and somewhat toned for work.
The Lavender Soap is a soft color, and definitely well suited for the Spring or in my opinion anytime of the year when you want a calm look, however still be a little wild but classy at the same. Lavender Soap by Revlon has a pearl finish look. I actually applied this color as a top coat with another color because the color is very sheer, however on its own the color is screaming spring time and can be buildable. The color is soft and the scent is a strong lavender, so if floral fragrances are not your fortay stay clear of this one. However the color is pretty and I would definitely feel comfortable for me wearing this color to meetings and for nights on the town.

Do you find yourself sniffing your fingers? Lol. I really want to try the China Red color Cherry Blossom maybe? it’s supposed to be very bright
Yes, almost every time I wear these polishes I had to explain to people why I was smelling my nails, saying it’s ok it’s fragrance nail polish. And one time a lady said oh you must have on the Revlon scented nail polish and I was like yes. The China Flower is bright, but not shocking I think.I mean the color calls for attention, but in a good way.
Hi I love your post. Maybe you could check out my blog and follow if you like?
Thank you. Checking out your blog and just started following.
You should do swatches, it’s a very interesting line – I’m glad you did a post about it 🙂
Thank you, I definitely plan on adding some swatches for a new post, because I purchased some new colors. The Revlon Parfumerie line, I think was one of the best nail polish collection that Revlon released. I am interested to find out what else they are planning in regards to the parfumerie line. Is it going to stop at nail polish or are they going to take the collection further?
